Sponsoring Initiative
Andries Oberholzer Consulting is involved with several activities. Most are privately funded. These include:
- Noordvandieberg, on www.noordvandieberg.co.za, a community-based website for those who either live north of the Magaliesberg in Pretoria, or whose businesses are based there.
- Mentoring Men, on www.mentoringmen.co.za, a critical mentoring programme to reach men of all ages and offer support so that they can be a functional part of society.
- John Chapter Three, on www.johnchapterthree.com, a website aimed at proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, in six languages – Afrikaans, Arabic, English, Russian, Setswana, and Zulu.
- The Gospel Prayer Room, on www.thegospelprayerroom.com, a website committed to emotional and spiritual support for anyone in need.
- Linn Sondek LP12 Support, on www.lp12.co.za, a website dedicated to owners of the Linn Sondek LP12 turntable.
These websites are all very active and receive a good number of visitors. To ensure their future existence, they need to be funded. We are looking for sponsors who will carry the expense of hosting these websites on an annual basis. Sponsoring a website will imply the following:
- The sponsor’s name/business/advertisement is prominently displayed on the main page of the website, with links to the sponsor’s own website or email; and
- The sponsor pays the annual costs of hosting the domain. This consists of the following:
- Annual domain renewal: R97.00 to R197.00 per annum, depending on the domain; and
- Monthly hosting fees: R69.00 per month, for a total of R828.00 per year.
The total for one year is only R925.00. The advantage is that the sponsor gets more exposure for their own business, and they are associated with a business of their choice. Maintaining these websites is still for the account of the developer. Note that the sponsor does not become the owner of the website, but rather a funding partner.
